Bureau of Police Research and Development Invites application for 13 Stenographer Grade II Jobs on Deputation Basis.
The Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), was set up on 28 August 1970 in furtherance of the objective of the (Ministry of Home Affairs) Government of India for the modernisation of Police Forces. It has evolved as a multifaceted, consultancy organisation. At present it has 4 divisions – Research, Development,Training and Correctional Administration.
Job Location: Chandigarh, New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Ghaziabad.

Qualifications and Eligibility : Officers under the Central Government :-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
(ii) With five years’ service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 4500-7000/5000- 8000 (new scale of pay of PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200 plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- (Level in pay matrix 5) /PB-2 Rs.9300-34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-) (Level in pay matrix 6) or equivalent OR
(iii) With ten years’ service in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 4000- 6000 (new scale of pay of PB-1 Rs.5200- 20,200 plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- ) (Level in pay matrix 4) or equivalent
(b) Possessing a speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand (English/Hindi)
The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion
Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs.9300-34,800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- (Level in pay matrix -6) plus allowance as per Government rules from time to time.
Age Limit: 56 Years
