ISRO RECRUITMENT 2018

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India  is the organisation which deals with Space/Satellites has released notification to recruit various groups C and D posts in ISRO its subordinate departments.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is looking for young, dynamic and dedicated candidates for filling up the posts of Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographers in Level 4 of Pay matrix for filling up in various ISRO centres/units across India. 

ISRO Stenographer Recruitment : Recently ISRO has released the schedule for recruitment notification for the year 2018. As per schedule ISRO has released the notification of ISRO Junior Personal Assistant and stenographer  on 10th April 2018.

ISRO Junior Personal Assistant and  Stenographer 2018 Important dates:

Application form submission starts from:  10th April 2018

Last date to apply online: 30th April 2018

Written exam admit card issue date: Last week of July/first week of August  2018

Exam date : 12th August 2018

ISRO Recruitment 2018 Application form

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application online from the official ISRO website  www.isro.gov.in.  Candidates must note that only online applications will be accepted by ISRO.
Application fee in respect of online application can be paid through SBI challan/Net banking and any credit and debit cards will be accepted. The application fee is for General
candidates is RS.100/- However SC/ST/Women/Pwd/Ex servicemen are exempted from payment of fees. Application fee paid by you is non refundable.

ISRO Recruitment 2018 Written exam pattern

After the successful online application process, candidates must start their written examination preparation from day one on wards.
The ISRO Personal assistant and stenographer written exam will consist of 2 stages, a) Written exam b) Stenography skill test.

A. Written exam

The written exam will consist of objective and descriptive type paper consists of three parts: General awareness, Reasoning, and English.There will be negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer. Candidates who qualified in written exam will
be called for stenography skill test. The qualifying marks are decided by the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board based on the paper level difficulty and number of jobs available and number of candidates attempted for the exam.

B. Shorthand Skill test

The Skill test will be of qualifying nature and the commission will the qualifying standards in the skill test for different categories of candidates. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 80 WPM for the post of stenographer Grade D. The matter will have to transcribe on computer. The Transcription time is as follows

For Junior Personal Assistant : 50 minutes (English) 65 Minutes (Hindi)

For Stenographer  : 50 minutes (English) 65 Minutes (Hindi)

ISRO Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer Educational Qualification

The candidates must have first class in Graduation  or equivalent from a recognised board or university.

ISRO Junior Personal Assistant and Stenographer Eligibility

Candidates interested in applying the ISRO Stenographer  and Junior Personal Assistant exam will have to fulfil the necessary eligibility as laid down by the ISRO.
A candidate must be either:
a. A citizen of India or
b. A subject of Nepal or
c. A subject of Bhutan or
d. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st Jan 1962 with intention of settling in India or
e. A person of India origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the united republic of Tanzania
Zambia, Malawi Zaire Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention of settling in India.

ISRO Stenographer and Junior Personal Assistant Age limit

Candidates should be in between 18 - 26 years as on 30-04-2018
Age relaxes for all reserved category candidates as per government rules from time to time.

Pay scale :

Recently the Finance minister has approved to implement the 7th pay commission. As per the pay commission the salary of Stenographers who qualified in final list will be as per below

For Stenographer Level -4 Rs.25,500 -81,100

For Junior Personal Assistant  Level -4 Rs.25,500 -81,100

Apart from basic pay the selected candidates will get allowance like HRA, DA and transport allowance.

The Candidates who qualify in written exam and skill test will get appointment letter by ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board. Allocation of department/sub ordinate department is done by the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board based on the merit.
